We have spent the Fall digging into the catalogs of some iconic, quintessential groups who laid the foundation for the gigantic, diverse genre of "rock music" that we know and love today. For our Spring season, we're going to shift our focus towards some of the modern consequences of these foundational groups, plus some less obvious branches of the rock and roll family tree. This Spring we will be putting together Performance Bands in the following themes:
Spring Season Show
Our Spring end-of-season show will take place on Sunday, May 4th at The Pour House in downtown Raleigh. Bands will play from 12-4:30pm. You will receive an email at least one week prior to the show detailing the schedule for the day, including the estimated play time for each band. If you are aware of any time constraints for your student, please let me know so I can do my best to accommodate you! The show will feature tributes from our Performance Bands to Metallica, Nirvana, Folk Rock, Pop Punk / Emo, and Progressive Rock, as well as performances from our Rock 101 groups.
